There’s always a slope around the corner

In Finland it’s almost impossible to find a place with no slopes in the sight. Even in the region of Helsinki, you can find a dozen of ski resorts. The nearby ski resorts offer a variety of activities to any skier from first-timer to experienced.

It takes only 30 minutes to hit the nearest slopes from the Helsinki-Vantaa airport. Kauniainen, Swinghill, Serena and Talma are close-by and ready to welcome you once you have landed. Within an one-hour-drive you’ll find Vihti Ski, Peuramaa and Kokonniemi. Some of these are easy to reach by bus or train.

There are ski resorts in urban areas practically everywhere. They are favourite places especially among families due to the easy access. Small slopes offer an easy and relaxed start. If skiing isn’t your thing, you might find it fun to have slide in a toboggan.

Urban ski resorts are important places also for the young as these resorts are perfect for freestyle. Resorts offer safe slopes and take-off ramps for beginners.
